The Graduate School at GVSU

The Graduate School (TGS) provides leadership and support for graduate education.  

TGS offers programming and advising to assist masters and doctoral students through transitions from prospective, to enrolled, and to graduating.

TGS oversees graduate assistantships, including appointments and orientations. TGS administers university policies that apply to graduate education.

GVSU Library Services

Grand Valley State University Libraries was the proud recipient of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) 2012 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award. The University Libraries enrich the educational mission of the university by advancing intellectual growth and discovery through the acquisition, application, dissemination, and preservation of knowledge, and the promotion of teaching, learning, and active scholarship. Each library’s collection is tailored to its location and the programs it serves, with daily deliveries of physical materials between all University Libraries locations.

Student Services Division

The Student Services Division provides a wide range of programs and services that enhance learning in critical thinking, communication, self awareness, relationships, diversity, membership & leadership, citizenship, and sustainability. These co-curricular offerings and support services target undergraduate and graduate students, residential and commuter students, traditional and nontraditional age students, as well as full-time and part-time students at Grand Valley’s campuses and regional centers.

Student Academic Success Center

The Student Academic Success Center (SASC) is committed to helping students reach their academic and personal goals.

The SASC foster's student development and academic success by providing support services for students to assist them in achieving their educational goals.

Information Technology

GVSU Information Technology provides several resources to students and faculty including technical support, IT seminars, printing, and technology lending.
